This is definitely the most direct and safe way, but at the same time, the cost is also the highest.
Sealing tape can be selected according to different purposes and viscosity to meet different requirements. The thickness of the tape ranges from 38μm to 55μm, and sealing tapes with a thickness of 55μm or more can also be customized (one piece of material is required, and one piece of material is 4000㎡). Sealing tape can be divided into three grades: low viscosity, medium viscosity, and high viscosity. Low viscosity sealing tape: below 40μm, medium viscosity sealing tape: between 40μm-45μm, high viscosity sealing tape: 45μm-50μm, and ultra-high viscosity sealing tape: above 50μm. Therefore, the corresponding selection can be made according to the packaging requirements as follows:
1. For the packaging of plastic or lightweight items, low viscosity sealing tape can also meet the packaging requirements. For example: small pieces of clothing packaging, foam packaging, etc. can solve the problem.
2. For items weighing less than 15kg-20kg, medium viscosity sealing tape between 40μm-45μm can be selected.
3. For special products such as items weighing more than 20kg and with smooth or varnished carton surfaces, 45μm-50μm high viscosity or ultra-high viscosity sealing tape is required. Such situations require testing to find the sealing tape that meets the requirements. You can also use sealing tape produced by hot melt adhesive, but the price is slightly higher.
