Due to technical limitations, the base material (i.e., corrugated paper) of masking tape produced by our domestic masking tape manufacturers is still imported from abroad. Masking tape manufacturers then further process the raw corrugated paper, such as impregnating, coating with silicone oil and coating with glue, to make the master roll of masking tape. From the master roll to the finished product, it is also necessary to cut it into small rolls according to the specific specifications of the customer. In fact, the quality of the base corrugated paper imported from abroad is the same regardless of the color. In order to facilitate the distinction, masking paper manufacturers generally make white masking paper into low-viscosity stripes, yellow masking paper into medium-high-viscosity plain, and heat-resistant masking paper is generally also plain masking tape. Therefore, in terms of raw materials, different colors are not distinguished in quality. The main reason affecting the performance of masking paper is the subsequent processing of masking paper manufacturers. White masking paper is the most common and the lowest price. Yellow masking paper has relatively good performance and viscosity, but the price is high. Colored masking paper is also a plain masking paper, which is generally not heat-resistant and has the same quality as ordinary plain masking paper, but with richer colors.
