Insulating tape is also called insulating tape or electrical tape. This product consists of a base tape and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The base tape is generally made of cotton cloth, synthetic fiber fabric and plastic film, and the adhesive layer is made of rubber plus adhesives such as tackifying resin, with good viscosity and excellent insulation performance.
Insulating tape is used to prevent leakage and act as an insulator. When the glue on the outer layer of the wire or plug is damaged, it can be treated with insulating tape in time. Insulating tape has good insulation pressure resistance, flame retardancy, weather resistance and other characteristics, and is suitable for wire connection, electrical insulation protection and other characteristics.
There are two production processes for insulating tape: rubbing and coating. It is made of polyvinyl chloride film as the base material and coated with rubber-type pressure-sensitive adhesive. The products produced are used for electrical work such as wire wrapping, joints, insulation sealing, etc. with a voltage below 380V.
